Spring Volunteer Watershed Cleanup

Spring volunteer watershed cleanup event led by Gallatin Watershed Council (GWC).

WHEN: Saturday, May 18th, 2-4 pm, immediately followed by the GWC volunteer season kickoff celebration at the Bozeman Pond Pavilion. Gather for food, drinks, and prizes. Announcements start at 5 pm. The event will end at 5:30 pm. 

WHERE: Teams will disperse across the Lower Gallatin Watershed, from Bozeman to Manhattan.

WHY: Removing trash and waste from our local streams, wetlands, and trails improves the quality of water, soil, and habitat for the people and critters in our area and for our downstream neighbors. 

SPONSORS: Madison Gallatin Trout Unlimited, Bozeman Brewing Company, Voormi, Eco Montana, MAP Brewing Co., Happy Trash Can Compost, Bozeman Hot Springs, Republic Services, Genuine Ice Cream, Gallatin County, and Lowkey Sandwiches.

LIABILITY: All GWC volunteers must fill out an Acknowledgement of Risk waiver before participating in volunteer events. Forms are good for the entirety of one calendar year (January 2024-December 2024).
